Assistant General Manager Aera
Job Summary
Joining Aera means becoming part of an extraordinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional hospitality and unforgettable guest experiences. Reporting to the General Manager the Assistant General Manager plays a key leadership role in all aspects of restaurant operations. Working closely with both Front of House and Back of House teams you will help build and develop high-performing teams uphold our standards and operating procedures and drive operational excellence. Through professional enthusiastic leadership and a commitment to hospitality you will contribute to what sets Aera apartcreating a warm welcoming and truly memorable experience for every guest.
The Day to Day:
- You enthusiastically communicate the restaurants vision to all team members and lead by example.
- You embody the O&B values daily and inspires the team with his/her exciting vision for the future
- Youre able to regularly monitors and achieves the O&B points of technical service and points of details
- Youre strong suit is building and maintaining relationships with guests team members and senior management alike
- You understand how to create foster and maintain a rave worthy bar program.
- You are have high personal integrity business ethics and take every opportunity to promote the restaurant
- Youve got a keen eye for talent and conduct recruitment selection training and development initiatives as well as performance management and employee coaching
- You apply and uses conflict resolution and problem solving skills and inspire others to do the same
- Youve got a savvy business acumen and assists with the tracking of sales invoicing and managing inventory
- You conduct and also coach your management team to host well informed briefings with service staff prior to each function or service
- You have a strong grasp or service needs experience and schedule accordingly
Qualifications :
- 23 years of leadership experience in a high-volume upscale hospitality environment with previous management experience preferred.
- An inspiring and seasoned hospitality professional with a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.
- A proactive problem-solver who is always looking for more effective and efficient ways of working.
- Results-driven with the ability to set goals drive performance and motivate your team to continuously raise the bar.
- A collaborative leader who understands that great teams achieve more together.
- Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to think quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Committed to personal and professional growth with a desire to take advantage of the learning and development opportunities we offer.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with guests team members and stakeholders alike.
