Job Summary

FLINT is seeking 1st or 2nd Year Apprentice Welders for a temporary position in Sherwood Park AB starting in June 2026. In this position you will enjoy a Monday to Thursday schedule 10 hour-days and benefits after 300 hours worked.

This position does not include camp accommodations living out allowance or travel allowance. Therefore it is best suited for local candidates; however those willing to travel or relocate at their own expense are also encouraged to apply.

Qualifications :

Valid Apprentice Welder ticket.
Minimum 2 years experience as a welder or welders helper in an industrial setting.
Experience in welding or sandblasting.
Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements:
- CSTS-2020
- WHMIS
Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
Proficient in English both written and verbal communication required.

Additional Information :

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
