Job Summary

Description

Within the LATAM region this role leads strategic logistics projects and drives operational excellence initiatives including KPI implementation logistics operating model evolution logistics strategy development and cost control frameworks. The position acts as a key interface between regional operations and global standards ensuring alignment scalability and performance consistency across domestic and international logistics flows. It also supports governance audits and continuous improvement efforts to sustain high service levels and financial discipline.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and execute strategic logistics projects (domestic and international logistics) across LATAM ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
  2. Define and implement KPI frameworks to improve visibility performance tracking and decision-making.
  3. Drive logistics strategy initiatives including network optimization and service model enhancements.
  4. Support the evolution and implementation of logistics operating modelsensuring integration with internal teams and external partners.
  5. Establish and monitor cost control mechanisms identifying savings opportunities and efficiency gains.
  6. Conduct logistics audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and global standards.
  7. Strengthen governance processes ensuring consistency accountability and operational discipline.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive end-to-end improvements.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Supply Chain Business Administration or related fields.
  • MBA or Postgraduate degree in Supply Chain International Trade Logistics or related areas is a plus.
  • Certifications in Lean Six Sigma APICS (CPIM/CSCP) or Project Management (PMP) is a plus.

Requirements:

Minimum Experience & Skills:

  • 5 years of experience in logistics supply chain or operations with exposure to project-based environments
  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional projects and driving process improvements
  • Strong knowledge of logistics operations transportation and distribution models
  • Experience with KPI development performance management and cost control
  • Experience with logistics operating models or complex distribution structures (preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
  • Advanced stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to operate in a regional/multicultural environment
  • English and Spanish advanced.
