We are seeking for a Senior Network Engineerto join our team in Brussels.
Responsibilities
- Conduct architecture and technology studies considering user needs standards scalability and performance;
- Prepare and execute tests and proof of concepts (PoCs);
- Perform capacity planning and write technical specifications;
- Support evaluation of technical solutions and oversee migrations and deployments;
- Monitor performance and recommend improvements;
- Contribute to database setup customization testing and documentation;
- Provide technical support and user guidance;
- Assess training needs deliver training sessions and evaluate results;
- Support additional tasks aligned with team objectives.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of telecom and data center technologies standards and best practices;
- Hands-on experience with network automation (e.g. Ansible Python CI/CD) and Infrastructure-as-Code;
- Solid networking background (routing VPNs SD-WAN DNS/DHCP data center and campus networks);
- Experience with cloud and container environments (Azure/AWS Docker/Kubernetes);
- Good understanding of network security (firewalls IDS/IPS web security load balancing);
- Relevant vendor certifications are a plus.
Miscellaneous
- Experience with automated deployments (e.g. Zero Touch Provisioning PXE);
- Familiarity with monitoring logging and network management tools;
- Ability to work with modern architectures and hybrid environments;
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills;
- Flexible and able to support evolving technical environments;
- EU citizenship;
- Based in Brussels.
