As a Youth Worker you will provide support supervision and care to children and young people helping them feel safe valued and connected.

You will:

• Build trusting and professional relationships with young people.
• Support young people to develop life skills confidence and independence.
• Encourage participation in activities decision-making and goal setting.
• Support positive connections with family peers and important people in their lives.
• Complete documentation and contribute to quality care outcomes.

We have multiple Permanent Part-Time and Casual shift work role available. These positions require availability across a range of shifts including evenings overnight shifts weekends and sleepovers.

You will need to be comfortable transporting young people as required with a reliable vehicle comprehensive insurance and unrestricted drivers licence.

To work as a Youth Worker in Queensland you must:

• Have completed or be actively enrolled in a relevant qualification.
• Hold an unrestricted (Open) Drivers Licence.
• Hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or be willing to obtain prior to commencement).
• Have a reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance.

Experience working with children young people or vulnerable people is highly regarded.

• Permanent Part-time $40.49 Casual $50.61 per hour 12% Superannuation (SCHADS Level 3.1 equivalent).
