Life Without Barriers is recruiting Youth Workers for our Out of Home Care and Residential programs across Brisbane. If you bring compassion resilience and trauma-informed understanding wed love to hear from you.
Permanent Part-Time positions 30 hours per fortnight
Casual Youth Worker positions
Permanent rate: $ 40.49 p/h
Casual rate: $ 50.61 p/h
12% Super Salary packaging up to $15900

You will:
Build safe trusting relationships with children and young people
Be a positive role model and support life skills development
Encourage family connection and community participation
Support young people to have a voice in decisions
Work across a 24/7 roster including sleepover shifts
Chermside Alderley Cannon Hill Mt Gravatt Inala Forest Lake
Training and meetings held in Milton.
Cert IV in Child Youth and Family Intervention or other relevant qualification (completed or actively enrolled QLD standards apply)
Experience supporting trauma-based behaviours
Unrestricted (Open) Drivers Licence
Registered and insured vehicle
Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
Willingness to obtain a Blue Card
