Workshop Technician
Job Summary
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor in this role you will be part of a team of field and workshop service technicians providing a prompt and effective service to customers within the Water Power Petrochemical and other associated Industries.
You will identify faults repair test and modify actuators in production and workshop carry out retrofit adaption of components pedestals and drive shafts and completing accurate and technical reports for each job.
This role would suit a determined problem-solver who can think logically for troubleshooting issues.
Repair actuators and resolve issues in relation to Rotork products using mechanical &
Electrical experience an understanding of actuation/automation and strong problem-solving
skills. Based primarily in our workshop but maybe required to support Field Service staff in the
field from time to time.
Qualifications :
Trade certificate or technical diploma Mechanical and/or Electrical
Restricted Electrical license or be prepared to undergo a course to obtain this
qualification.
Hold and maintain a motor vehicle driving license.
Demonstrate an above average electrical and mechanical aptitude.
Able to read and understand electrical pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
Must be physical fit and comply with Rotorks and customers drug and alcohol policies
Should be computer literate being competent with the use of commonly available
Microsoft programs.
Be prepared to undertake Rotork Training Courses as required in Australia or overseas
locations.
