Daltech is customer-centric specialising in the repair and maintenance of our customers earthmoving equipment in both the civil and mining sectors.
Our workshop handles a large variety of work across a multitude of OEM makes (CAT Komatsu Hitachi & More) and models (dump trucks loaders dozers graders & more). Our team run a 5 day roster at 10 hours in our Redcliffe workshop.
The Role:
Committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers you will be responsible for overseeing the workshops operations to ensure objectives are achieved cost-effectively efficiently and safely. This role requires strong internal and external customer engagement with a proactive approach to communication at all times.
You will consistently review job scopes making necessary adjustments and clearly communicating these to our highly skilled team of Heavy Diesel Mechanics Auto Electricians and Boilermakers to ensure flawless execution.

Responsibilities:
Financial & Operational Performance
- Operate within the allocated department budget to achieve company strategies and standard business practices.
- Meet monthly financial projections and ensure accurate forecasting.
- Exceed recoverable hours to meet budget targets.
- Organise and manage quotes purchase orders payroll and invoicing to reduce errors and minimise days to invoice after last labour.
Team Leadership & Development
- Foster a culture of accountability and performance while supporting employee development through open and honest communication.
- Performance and development management training and achievements increasing employee engagement.
- Recruitment & Workforce Planning - Develop strategies to increase conversions of Daltech right-fit personnel.
Safety & Compliance
- Maintain and deliver a safe working environment exceeding risk assessment and control lead indicators.
- Carry out safety observations and interactions to improve safety culture.
Customer & Supplier Engagement
- Proactively manage client and supplier relationships with solution-focused communication.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation and reporting to support operational transparency.

What Will You Need
- Experienceandexposurein a customer-focused environment with OEM Equipment(CAT Komatsu Liebherr Hitachi) as a sound knowledge base
- Experience working as a supervisor/team leader/leading hand
- Australian Recognised Heavy Mobile Plant Qualification
- Valid Australian Drivers licence (Minimum C Class)
- Desire todrive a teamto go above and beyond
