About The Opportunity

We are seeking a Works Supervisor Planned Maintenance to ensure service excellence for a large-scale government housing contract by efficiently coordinating managing and monitoring trade and subcontractor performance. This role aims to guarantee the safe timely and client-desired delivery of all scheduled maintenance works meeting both Programmed Facility Management (PFM) and client quality standards. This permanent full-time role based in Burswood WA plays a crucial part in the delivery of facility management and contributing to important services for the community.

Reporting Line: Contract Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the delivery of planned property maintenance works across the government housing portfolio.
  • Ensure all maintenance work is completed within agreed service levels timeframes and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews site inspections and quality audits of scheduled maintenance.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping reporting and contract compliance.
  • Support budget management and monitor expenditure against maintenance programs
  • Foster strong working relationships with vendor partners to drive service excellence and continuous improvement
  • Assist in the preparation and assessment of proposals contract variations and business improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor client feedback and implement actions that strengthen service delivery outcomes and contract performance.
  • Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all WHS legislation policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with government clients and key stakeholders.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have experience in building trades/services or facilities management (or similar) in a supervisor management or planning/ scheduling position. You will have a can-do attitude natural ability for people engagement and passion for excellent service delivery.

Additionally you will demonstrate and possess the following:

  • Trade qualification(s) - desirable
  • Facilities management and or planned maintenance experience
  • Experience working within KPI-driven environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Understanding of government housing social housing or property maintenance environments desirable.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of building and construction- desirable.
  • Current drivers licence.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook & PowerPoint).
