In this pivotal role you will be the bridge between our students and the industry responsible for securing high-quality work placements that provide invaluable real-world experience.
Based from home in Sydney you will be the driving force behind our work placement program spending your time on the road building relationships and securing high-quality opportunities across Sydney (especially Western Sydney) and NSW.
This isnt just a coordination role; its about building a network from the ground up creating meaningful partnerships and having a direct impact on student success.
- Business Development: Youll take the lead in identifying connecting with and securing new host employers across the Allied Health Aged Care Disability and other sectors through strategic face-to-face outreach and networking.
- Relationship Management: Youll be the trusted point of contact for our industry partners nurturing these relationships to ensure they become sustainable long-term sources of quality placements.
- End-to-End Coordination: You will manage the entire placement lifecycle from negotiating agreements and handling documentation to ensuring students and employers are supported throughout the process.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Youll represent UNE Partnerships at industry events and career expos championing the value our students bring to the workplace.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A proven background in stakeholder engagement business development or industry-facing coordination. Experience in the VET Health or Education sectors is a huge plus.
- Natural confidence and strong interpersonal skills; youre just as comfortable building rapport face to face as you are over the phone.
- A student-focused mindset and a genuine passion for helping people achieve their goals.
- The drive and discipline to work autonomously from a home office managing your own schedule and priorities to hit your targets.
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail and proficiency in using CRM systems.
