Job Summary

Your opportunityAs an Injury Management Specialist youll lead ECHs workplace injury management and claims function ensuring compliance with relevant legislation self-insurance performance standards and organisational closely with employees leaders treating practitioners and external stakeholders youll coordinate effective injury management and return to work programs that support sustainable recovery outcomes and employee provide specialist advice manage complex claims influence injury prevention initiatives and drive continuous improvement across injury management safety and wellbeing practices. Youll make an impact byLeading the end-to-end management of workplace injuries and complex workers compensation claims ensuring compliant and effective case management. Developing implementing and monitoring tailored recovery and return to work plans that achieve safe and sustainable outcomes for employees. Providing expert advice and guidance to leaders and employees on injury management rehabilitation and legislative obligationsBuilding strong relationships with treating practitioners insurers regulators and internal stakeholders to support coordinated recovery outcomes. Using data compliance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance injury management performance and organisational outcomesWhat youll bringExtensive experience in injury management workers compensation and return to work coordination including complex case management. Strong knowledge of the Return to Work Act 2014 (SA) injury management principles and employer obligations. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective recovery and return to work strategies that deliver sustainable outcomes. Highly developed stakeholder engagement negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Strong analytical governance and compliance capabilities with experience managing sensitive information and legislative would also love you to bring the following skills:Formal qualifications in Injury Management Work Health & Safety Allied Health or a related disciplineReturn to Work Coordinator accreditation and experience within a self-insured or complex employer environment.
