WHS Advisor ZEB Temporary opportunity until 31 Dec 2028

In this role youll:
Working as part of a team delivering functional WHS management across all project and business division activities including maintaining risk management processes implementing safety policies and protocols keeping accurate WHS records and facilitating WHS training for Zero Emission Bus (ZEB) operations.
This role will see you support the development and implementation of safety management plans identify and resolve WHS issues create and maintain WHS documentation review governance processes and Safety Management Plans provide technical WHS rail safety and HVNL advice assist stakeholders to manage psychosocial hazards coordinate site investigations and develop initiatives that deliver bestpractice WHS outcomes.
You will build improved WHS practices and proactive riskmanagement processes in a complex environment of evolving WHS legislation diverse stakeholder priorities and the need to secure agreement on safety approaches across varied operational contexts.

About you
Your safety management knowledge understanding of WHS legislation and Codes of Practice analytical capability governance awareness and ability to collaborate with stakeholders formed across WHS advisory roles regulated transport environments projectbased safety functions and operational safety settings will see you excel in addressing WHS challenges overcoming compliance complexities and bringing structured safety processes to lead to safer workplaces enhanced risk mitigation and improved organisational WHS performance and strong construction safety /operational background.
Youre recognized as an ethical and collaborative WHS professional skilled at reviewing WHS practices providing technical safety advice supporting investigations and developing WHS documentation experienced in risk management psychosocial hazard management rail and heavy vehicle safety requirements and continuous improvement of WHS systems
