We provide training and support for both social enterprise and mainstream employment opportunities so that individuals can feel purpose pride and belonging through employment. We are seeking a professional caring and person-centred Wellbeing Training & Support Worker to join our team.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Team Lead this role plays a key part in supporting individuals to develop work-ready skills in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure our employees receive high-quality training support and guidance aligned with NDIS and organisational standards. We operate in a fast-paced environment that requires sound judgment resilience and a commitment to achieving meaningful outcomes for the people we support.

This position is suited to someone who brings strong interpersonal skills adaptability and the professional maturity to navigate complex situations with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver workplace support & on the job skills training to individuals with disabilities to build capability and work towards individual goals.
  • Maintain a safe supportive and inclusive work environment for individuals to learn and grow.
  • Deliver behavioural based interventions and support.
  • Assist with employee onboarding induction work trials training programs and project work.
  • Prepare participant progress and other reports to record goals achievement and behaviour support and interventions.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team contributing ideas and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere toNDIS Practice Standards & Code of Conduct.
  • Contribute to Workplace Health & Safety practices.

What You bring to the Role

  • Experience working with people with a disability (essential).
  • Person-centred approach to supporting individuals in a dynamic environment.
  • Reliable professional with genuine interest in helping people achieve their goals.
  • Strong relationship-building constructive conflict management capability.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Accountable dependable and solutions focused.
  • Working knowledge of Disability Services Standards NDIS practice standards and code of conduct.
  • Ability to advocate effectively for people with disability and work across all levels of the organisation.
  • Competency in MS Applications (Word Excel OutlookInternetand various other software applications)

Qualifications & Certifications

  • Cert IV In Disability Services is preferred or Qualifications in community services aged care social work or related fields is highly desirable.
  • NDIS Screening Check (Current and Linked to AWA) mandatory
  • Working With Children Check (Employee Check) (Current and Linked to AWA) mandatory
  • Current First Aid qualifications HLTAID010 and HLTAID011 (or willingness to undertake).
  • Current CPR HLTAID009 (or willingness to undertake)
  • Mental Health First Aid (or willingness to obtain) is highly desirable.
  • Competency in MS Applications (Word Excel Outlook Internet and various other software applications).
