Take on a key role as a Welder on the BHP Bucket Wheel Reclaimer Upgrade project delivering critical work across a leading mining operation. Bring your skills safety focus and team mindset and gain consistent work strong support and a crew that values your contribution. Ability to move on to another major project upon successful completion.

Casual Rates commencing from:

Welder Special Class (AS1554):

  • Dayshift: $69.55 inclusive of 25% casual flat loading penalties
  • Nightshift: $83.46 inclusive of 25% casual flat loading and 25% night shift flat loading penalties

Welder Special Class (ASME B-31-3):

  • Dayshift: $69.94 inclusive of 25% casual flat loading penalties
  • Nightshift: $83.93 inclusive of 25% casual flat loading and 25% night shift flat loading penalties

Allowances;
Site Allowance: $4.50 per hour
Mobilisation Payment: 14.4 hours (2x standard OTE days) paid first full pay period following successful completion of your first work cycle

The Role
  • Installation and welding of fixed plant equipment
  • Structural modifications reinforcement and plate work across the machine
  • Cutting gouging grinding and weld preparation activities
  • Working to weld procedures drawings and quality standards
About You
  • Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
  • BHP experience desirable
  • 5 years experience in maintenance or construction
  • Construction White Card
  • Work Safely at Heights (within 2 years of issue)
  • Enter and Work in Confined Space(within 2 years of issue)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment Medical and regular / random Drug and Alcohol screens
  • Additional Tickets will be highly regarded
