Welder

We are currently seeking an experienced First Class Welder to join a leading Australian bus manufacturer.

Pay Rate: $48.56 per hour super
Hours: Monday to Friday 6:00am3:00pm
Overtime: Regular overtime opportunities available

You will be working within a modern vehicle manufacturing facility constructing and assembling bus chassis and framework components.

Key duties include:

• Welding and fabricating metal chassis and framework sections
• Reading and interpreting drawings and work instructions
• Cutting shaping and aligning metal components
• Joining sections through welding bolting and riveting
• Inspecting cleaning and finishing completed welds
• Using hand tools power tools and welding equipment
• Assisting with vehicle modifications panels and fittings
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area

• First Class Welder Boilermaker or Welder/Fabricator experience
• Previous bus truck heavy-vehicle or automotive experience
• Strong welding and fabrication skills
• Ability to read drawings and diagrams
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work safely within a production team

• $48.56 per hour super
