We are currently seeking an experienced First Class Welder to join a leading Australian bus manufacturer.
Pay Rate: $48.56 per hour super Hours: Monday to Friday 6:00am3:00pm Overtime: Regular overtime opportunities available
About the Role
You will be working within a modern vehicle manufacturing facility constructing and assembling bus chassis and framework components.
Key duties include:
Welding and fabricating metal chassis and framework sections
Reading and interpreting drawings and work instructions
Cutting shaping and aligning metal components
Joining sections through welding bolting and riveting
Inspecting cleaning and finishing completed welds
Using hand tools power tools and welding equipment
Assisting with vehicle modifications panels and fittings
Maintaining a clean and safe work area
What Were Looking For
First Class Welder Boilermaker or Welder/Fabricator experience
Previous bus truck heavy-vehicle or automotive experience
Strong welding and fabrication skills
Ability to read drawings and diagrams
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work safely within a production team
