Water Civil Maintenance

Service Streams Utilities Division are currently seeking a Sewer Civil Maintenance Worker to join our team in Dandenong South. The successful candidate will be responsible for Civil works.

Nature of position: Permanent Full Time

Location: Dandenong

Reporting Line: Civil Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for the following

• Ensuring all works are performed as directed in a competent and safe manner.

• Carrying out labour tasks/field work unsupervised including planned and preventative maintenance and reducing repeat blockages.

• Undertake and participate in job and plant hazard identification and incident notifications.

• Attendance and active involvement in team meetings and toolbox meetings.

• Lead and/or assist in the completion of a job through mobile field computing and/or paperwork.

• Operating and maintaining maintenance requirements of plant tools and equipment.

About you

To be successful in this role you would ideally possess the following

Qualifications

• Current Victorian Drivers License.

• First Aid Level 1

• White Card

• Heavy Rigid (HR) License

• Traffic Control

Experience

• Experience working in a similar maintenance or construction role in water drainage or sewer.

• Knowledge of Water Industry infrastructure and asset management systems an advantage.
