Warehouse Officer
Job Summary
Gemco Is seeking a Warehouse Officer to join the team at Dynon VIC on a full time basis. The role will be responsible for the effective lifecycle management of repairable (rotatable) components and the accurate execution of warehouse operations to support maintenance role ensures the timely availability tracking and cost-effective repair of critical components through effective coordination with maintenance teams vendors and internal stakeholders. It also maintains high standards of inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency using ERP systems.
This role will report to Supply Chain Coordinator VIC.
Essential Knowledge Skills and Experience:
- Understanding of warehouse and logistics processes
- Transactional computer literacy in ERP systems preferably SAP.
- Able to reconcile inventory.
- Strong customer focus and ability to work with peers and site colleagues to provide a reliable and efficient service
- A strong attention to detail
- A strong willingness to learn and contribute to the overall processes
- Valid High Risk Work Licence (LF Forklift)
- Understanding of the WHS requirements.
Desirable Knowledge Skills and Experiences:
- 3 years experience in warehouse and logistics operations
- Experience working in a production/maintenance environment.
- Previous experience in Rail/heavy maintenance industry experience is highly regarded.
- Previous experience with SAP.
