Based in Port Adelaide we provide end-to-end logistics solutions including wharf cartage container transport warehousing distribution project logistics heavy haulage and Australia-wide bulk haulage.
The Warehouse Forklift Operator plays a key role in the safe movement storage and handling of products within the warehouse. You will operate forklifts and specialised equipment maintain accurate inventory records and support a safe organised and efficient work environment.
What you will be doing
- Safely operate forklifts and specialised equipment to load unload move and store products.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage discrepancies and quality issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory and warehouse records.
- Pick pack and prepare orders for distribution while maximising storage efficiency.
- Support site safety housekeeping and continuous improvement initiatives.
Do you have
- A current Forklift Licence and proven forklift operating experience.
- Experience in a warehouse environment ideally within transport logistics or container operations.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety accuracy and housekeeping standards.
- The ability to work a rotating roster and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with chain/ratchet dogs and slipsheet attachments (preferred) and a willingness to learn.
Additional information:Successful applicants will be required to complete a pre-employment medicaldrug and alcohol screening police check and a pre employment medical.
