Role Detail

Our Sydney office is seeking a Boardroom Waiter to join our Hospitality team.

The client floor is at the heart of our office and were looking for a polished hospitality professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for clients and colleagues alike.

In this full-time permanent role youll deliver premium hospitality services across our client floor ensuring meetings events and boardroom experiences run seamlessly from start to finish. From welcoming guests to supporting high-profile client functions youll play an important role in maintaining the professional and premium service standards that Mallesons is known for.

Hours will be rostered Monday to Friday between 7:30am and 6:30pm with flexibility required to support occasional early morning or evening events.

Key duties will include:

• Deliver exceptional food and beverage service including tea coffee and catering service to clients and employees in a professional and welcoming manner
• Prepare set up and service meeting rooms and event spaces ensuring they are presented to the highest standard
• Support the delivery of VIP boardroom lunches client meetings breakfasts morning and afternoon teas cocktail functions and dinners
• Assist with the coordination and execution of internal and external events
• Provide support across our café and hospitality operations as required
• Assist with back-of-house duties including food preparation dishwashing and stock replenishment
• Provide reception relief and other administrative support as required
• Undertake additional duties as requested by the Guest Services Manager or Head Chef

About You

• Previous experience in corporate hospitality boardroom service fine dining premium hotels restaurants or conference and events environments
• A genuine passion for delivering exceptional client service and creating memorable guest experiences
• Professional presentation and communication skills with the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders and VIP guests
• Sound knowledge of food and beverage service including wine service and silver service principles
• Ability to remain calm organised and attentive in a fast-paced environment
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Flexibility to support occasional early morning or evening functions
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment
• Experience working within a law firm professional services environment five-star hotel or fine dining venue will be highly regarded
