The role
As a Visitor Services Guide youll help bring Placemaking NSW precincts to life by delivering engaging tours talks and visitor experiences that connect people to the precinct. From sharing stories and insights to supporting education activities youll play a key role in creating positive memorable experiences that encourage people to explore and learn more.
In this frontline role youll balance delivering high-quality customer service in a fast-paced sometimes unpredictable environment while ensuring accurate information safety awareness and culturally respectful storytelling. Youll also contribute to First Nations programs working closely with community and visitors to ensure content is delivered with authenticity and care.

What you will bring to the role
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and adapt your approach to diverse audiences including children young people adults and people with disability
- A passion for delivering high-quality customer-focused visitor experiences in a dynamic environment
- Experience or capability in delivering First Nations content with integrity cultural sensitivity and respect
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including community members
- Sound organisational and administration skills including managing emails bookings and enquiries
- Awareness and commitment to safe work practices and risk management in a public environment
- Confidence using basic technology systems to support program delivery and customer service
What is an essential requirement:

- This role will require a current Senior First Aid Certificate or willingness to gain a Senior First Aid Certificate prior to commencement of employment
