More than a housekeeping rolementor Indigenous staff support community and make a lasting impact in remote NT.

The Village Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean safe and welcoming accommodation environment in a remote Indigenous community village. The accommodation site includes approximately 80 single donga-style rooms used for both staff accommodation and guest rooms as well as shared facilities including gym laundry and guest kitchen. Working alongside a small team of local Indigenous housekeepers the Village Housekeeper will help ensure high standards of cleanliness presentation and hygiene are consistently maintained across all accommodation and communal areas.

About You:

• Previous experience in similar housekeeping or cleaning roles
• High level of professionalism and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills with ability to train and mentor culturally diverse staff

Desirable:

• Chemical handling/storage certificate
• Cleaning / House Keeping certificate/s
• Experience working within indigenous communities

Essential Licences / Clearances

• National Police check (with assistance)
• NT Drivers licence
• NLC Work & Residential permits (with assistance)
