About the Role
We are excited to offer 2 opportunities for Trainee Sonographers to join our Sonographer Training Program.
East Metro: Based at our Capital Radiology Vermont clinic. This is a full-time permanent position.Rotation through Capital Radiology Manningham Knox Vermont Private and other clinics will be required as part of the training position.
South Metro: Based at our Capital Radiology Berwick clinic. This is a full-time permanent position. Rotation through Capital Radiology Frankston and other clinics will be required as part of the training position.
A minimum of two years prior clinical patient-facing experience within an imaging environment ideally as a Radiographer will be highly regarded.
Commencement of sonography training would be desirable whether through completed modules in a Sonographer Training Program or at least one year of supervised study toward a recognised sonography qualification.
You will be supported and mentored by highly skilled Sonographers across our East and South metropolitan regions. We are seeking an enthusiastic values-driven individual who enjoys working collaboratively and is committed to developing their sonography career.
The successful candidate will be required to enter into a three-year post-qualification bond. For further information please reach out.
Ideal Candidates Will Have
Completed modules within a Sonographer Training Program
Or completed one year of supervised study as part of a Sonography qualification
Or a minimum of two years of patient-facing clinical experience ideally as a Radiographer
The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills a strong patient focus and a high level of attention to detail
Work rights for Australia or valid Visa
