About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsiblefor the day-to-day supervision and support of drivers ensuring safe efficientand compliant transport operations across Queensland.

You will be a hands-on leader who promotes a positive safetyculture drives operational excellence and supports both drivers and customersto achieve the highest standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead mentor and support a team of HC and MC drivers
  • Manage fleet maintenance activities with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct driver inductions training and competency assessments
  • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all operations
  • Monitor NHVR Chain of Responsibility (CoR) Fatigue Management and company compliance requirements
  • Manage driver performance and provide ongoing coaching and development
  • Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions
  • Liaise with customers site personnel and management teams
  • Support fleet utilisation operational planning and resource allocation
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are consistently followed
  • Conduct driver audits safety inspections and compliance reviews
  • Regularly travel to customer sites quarries construction projects and operational locations throughout Queensland
  • Support the mobilisation of drivers and equipment to new projects and operational areas
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies

About You

To be successful in this role you will possess:

Previous experience in aTransport Supervisor Driver Supervisor Leading Hand Fleet Coordinator orsimilar leadership role

Strong working knowledge ofNHVR regulations Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and Fatigue Managementrequirements

Experience within the tipperquarry bulk haulage mining transport or civil construction sectors

Excellent leadershipcommunication and organisational skills

Ability to build strongrelationships with drivers customers and stakeholders

Strong commitment to workplacehealth safety and compliance

Current HC or MC Licence(preferred)

Ability and willingness totravel regularly to operational sites across Queensland including regional andremote locations

Ability to pass aPre-Employment Medical

Current 5-Year Driving HistoryReport

Current National Police Check

Highly Regarded

Certificate IV in Transport& Logistics or a similar qualification

Experience managing drivercompliance systems and fleet management software

Experience supervisingtransport operations across regional and remote Queensland

Strong understanding ofquarry construction and mining site requirements
