About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Transmission Line Supervisor (Stringing) to join our Projects & Infrastructure team in a permanent full-time capacity. While this is an ongoing role within Zinfra the successful candidate will initially support delivery of one of Australias most significant transmission infrastructure projects.

Working in a field-based construction environment where planning safety and operational excellence are critical you will be responsible for the supervision and coordination of crews plant equipment and materials to deliver transmission line stringing works safely efficiently and in accordance with project specifications and company expectations. Youll provide leadership across active construction work fronts ensuring productivity quality and safety outcomes are achieved while supporting the successful delivery of a landmark energy project.

  • Lead and supervise transmission line stringing activities ensuring works are delivered safely efficiently and to specification.
  • Coordinate field resources plant equipment and materials to maximise productivity and maintain project schedules.
  • Provide leadership and direction to crews and subcontractors fostering a culture of accountability collaboration and safe execution.
  • Monitor construction progress quality and operational performance proactively identifying and resolving delivery risks and issues.
  • Work closely with the Construction Manager and wider project team to achieve safety quality commercial and schedule objectives.

About You

You are an experienced transmission construction leader with a strong background in stringing operations and a passion for safe delivery. Practical accountable and technically capable you thrive in demanding field environments and are trusted to make sound decisions solve problems and lead teams through complexity. You combine hands-on industry experience with strong leadership skills and a commitment to achieving high-quality outcomes.

  • Proven experience delivering stringing works on high-voltage transmission line projects in a Supervisor Team Leader or Superintendent capacity.
  • Previous hands-on experience in transmission line stringing activities ideally on 275kV and above transmission networks.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead field crews and subcontractors while managing safety productivity quality and delivery outcomes.
  • Trade qualification or relevant industry background supported by a current Australian Drivers Licence.
  • A resilient and collaborative leader who exercises sound judgement works through complexity challenges constructively and takes ownership of results.
