The Trainer position will be responsible for delivering the training required for the operation implementation and support of products for mission critical Command and Control systems for our customers.
The role will require periods of travel both domestically and internationally.
Australian Citizenship is necessary and candidates must hold a current Positive Vetting (PV) clearance or have held one in the last 12 months that can be re-activated.
The Trainer positions can be based from Canberra or Sydney offices.
Please note this role is a 12 month fixed term contract.

KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Trainer you are accountable to:
- Provide SME input into a Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and a Training Concept.
- Review and update end user training courses and material
- Plan manage and coordinate a training schedule
- Deliver ad hoc and scheduled end user training
- Assess and evaluate trainees
- Input subject matter expertise on training requirements to system development
- Assist operators with On the Job Training.
- Attend and participate in regular departmental and project meetings
- Attend and participate in service/technical reviews (both internal and external)
KEY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
To be successful in the role you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience:
- Cert 4 in training and assessment
- Analytical intelligence experience
- Experience in or strong interest in working in secure ICT environments
- Knowledge or experience of geospatial tools and data formats
- Nationally recognised instructor qualifications or experience
- Generation of training materiel
GOOD TO KNOW
Prior to being offered employment you will need to complete pre-employment police and (role dependent) medical checks. Applicants must be Australian citizens and hold PV security clearance.
