About the role
DCC is now recruiting for a Trainee Patent Attorney PatentAttorney or Associate with experience in the field of chemistry tojoin our Sydney office.
Your day-to-day work will involve all aspects of private patentattorney practice including liaising with inventors and clients;drafting and prosecuting patent applications; conducting searches;providing patentability infringement and validity opinions andproviding strategic portfolio advice.
About You
- A PhD in a chemistry-related discipline is required.
- Preferred field of expertise organic chemistry medicinal chemistry pharmaceutical sciences biochemistry or chemical biology.
- An excellent communicator with a strong command of written and verbal English.
- Demonstrated commitment to and interest in local business development.
- Able to understand and critically analyse information and think laterally.
- Well organised and self-motivated.
- Committed to providing clients with quality advice and service.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
