Daimler Trucks Geraldton part of the Ulti-Mech Group is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Parts Interpreter to join our team in Geraldton.

Supporting commercial vehicle customers throughout the Mid West Daimler Trucks Geraldton provides truck sales servicing and parts support across a wide range of leading commercial vehicle brands. This traineeship offers a structured pathway to develop the knowledge and skills required to become a qualified Parts Interpreter within a supportive and experienced team.

As a Trainee Parts Interpreter you will learn all aspects of the parts department while assisting with:

• Parts identification and interpretation
• Customer enquiries quoting and sales
• Ordering parts and maintaining stock levels
• Receipting and dispatching inventory
• Inventory control and stock management
• Maintaining parts records and catalogues
• Supplying parts to the workshop team
• General parts department administration and operations

Throughout the traineeship you will progressively develop the skills and industry knowledge required to work independently as a Parts Interpreter.

• Be confident communicating with customers and workshop staff
• Be comfortable using computers and learning new systems
• Have an interest in automotive trucks or mechanical equipment
• Work well as part of a team
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Drivers licence preferred but not essential
• Previous automotive retail warehousing or parts experience is advantageous but not required
• Genuine interest in the automotive or heavy vehicle industry
