Our Infrastructure Services business is seeking a committed Trainee Laboratory Technician to join our team based at our Narangba site. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to learn from the ground up and provide integral support whilst commencing a stable and long-term career within the construction industry.
In this position you will:
Commence studying a Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques.
Assist with sampling and testing of asphalt bitumen emulsion aggregates and soils including onsite sampling.
Assist with reporting record keeping and calibrations including reporting non-conforming products.
Conduct procedures safely and maintain good housekeeping of laboratory and surrounds.
Maintain the laboratory in accordance with NATA requirements.
Hold a valid Drivers Licence as travel will be required including away work based on the needs of the business.
