Traffic Engineer (Temporary)

In this highly specialised role you will be providing inputinto traffic management and road safety improvement for all roadusers towards achieving integrated Transport Plan outcomes conducttraffic and road safety investigations coordinate Local AreaTraffic Management (LATM) schemes and be involved in communityconsultation regarding infrastructure upgrades.

To perform at a high level you require a tertiary qualificationin Civil Engineering/Traffic Engineering and have relevantexperience in these areas. Any post graduate qualifications intraffic or transport engineering will be highly regarded. Inaddition to your professional qualifications and experience youpossess well developed written and verbal communication skills aswell as sound computer skills.

To be considered for this role you must address thefollowing selection criteria as part of your onlineapplication:

1. Significant experience in traffic or municipal engineering
2. Experience in identifying developing and delivering community programs
3. Experience in preparing submitting and acquitting funding submissions
4. Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering/Traffic Engineering and experience relevant to the position
5. Current C class drivers licence

We are offering a gross salary from $102707 to$110461 depending on skills and experience and:

• 12% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%
