Our Healthscope Casual Flexi Crew Team is looking to employ Theatre Technicians for our Operating Suites who will have the ability to work acrossour Healthscope Theatre complexes within Victoria.

Healthscopes Casual Flexi Crew is looking to employTheatre technicians that are highly motivated dedicated to the provision of exceptional customer service and patient care whilst having the flexibility to work acrossour acutehospitals within Melbourne. We are seeking individuals who are organised proactive and resourceful and are willing to excel within the hospital environment.

Our casual staff team will have the opportunity to work varied shifts across the 7 day a week roster across our operating theatre complexes including:

As a Theatre Technicianyour responsibilities will include:

• Demonstrate patient safety by maintaining cleanliness of work benches and all equipment reporting malfunctioning machinery or instruments and utilising Personnel Protective Equipment at all times.
• Act as a valued member of the inter-disciplinary team working with the Unit Manager and clinical team participating in meetings and demonstrating attention to detail and time management.
• Maintain professional and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners using a customer service mindset to enable high quality patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate operational efficiency by working efficiently and identifying and sharing opportunities for improvement to improve service delivery.
• Practices and role model the Healthscope Safe Values to create a positive experience for colleagues patients families and community.
• Undertakes duties in alignment with Healthscopes Health and Safety system and framework.

Essential Criteria:

• Working rights within Australia
• Current police check and working with childrens check
• Certificate III/IV qualifications in Health Services Assistant (Operating Theatre Technician) or higher
• Minimum of 1 years Operating suite experience
• High-level problem-solving skills
• A willingness to carry out the duties of the theatre technician in the theatre environment
• Excellent Customer Service organisationalverbal and written communication skills
• Ensure quality service is provided and government regulations are complied with in relation to food safety and infection control
• Ability to work within the multidisciplinaryteam
• Flexibility in working hours and location
