ABOUT YOU

Your role as a Tester:

• Test planning and Design develop and maintain detailed test plans test cases based on business and technical requirements
• Test Execution Execute functional integration regression testing. Record and track test results including defects and issues in the test management tool.
• Defect Management Identify document and prioritise defects accurately. Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Requirement Analysis Review business requirements and any technical specifications to ensure test coverage. Provide feedback on requirements to improve clarity and testability.
• Collaboration Work closely with developers business analysts project managers business owners and other QA team members
• Test Reporting Provide clear and timely updates on test progress risks and results
• Quality Advocacy Champion quality assurance practises within the team. Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes tools and methodologies.
• Compliance and Standards Ensure testing adheres to organizational policies standards and compliance requirements.

We are looking for a candidate who brings:

• Tertiary qualification or equivalent industry experience in Information Technology
• Demonstrated software testing experience
• Test Design and Execution experience
• Knowledge of Testing tools
• Understanding of the SDLC and STLC
