Your New Role and Responsibilities

The Test Manager is responsible for planning and delivering testing and service validation activities aligned to ITIL 4 within a SIAM shared-resource model. The role provides assurance that services systems and operational processes are fully validated and meet defined acceptance criteria prior to go live. This is a 12 month maximum tenure contract role.

Working closely with Project Managers this role supports governance forums enables controlled service acceptance and ensures alignment to customer policies while continuing to uplift transition testing practices.

  • Develop and execute the Project Test Strategy coordinating all testing phases including system integration operational acceptance and user validation.

  • Define and manage entry and exit criteria quality gates and readiness assessments to support go-live decisions

  • Oversee defect management risk identification and mitigation activities to support delivery timelines and quality outcomes.

  • Provide testing assurance and reporting into governance forums supporting informed go/no-go decisions

  • Coordinate multi-vendor testing activities and validate environments data and service configurations prior to handover.

About You and What Youll Bring

  • Demonstrated experience in Test Management within large-scale transitions or mobilisation programmes

  • Strong knowledge of ITIL 4 practices particularly Service Validation & Testing (certification desirable)

  • Proven ability to operate in SIAM or complex multi-vendor environments

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with experience supporting governance and cross-team collaboration

  • Experience developing test strategies playbooks SOPs and implementing testing tools and reporting solutions

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and be able to gain and maintain a Baseline level security clearance.
