Job Summary

The Role:

  • Prepare detailed civil and telecommunications drawings using AutoCAD 12d or MicroStation.
  • Produce design packages for telecommunications networks
  • Create IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings and documentation.
  • Draft civil layouts trenching plans conduit alignments pit locations and construction details.
  • Update and maintain drawing registers and project documentation.
  • Incorporate survey information utility data and design mark-ups into final drawings.
  • Ensure drafting outputs comply with client standards Australian Standards and company drafting procedures.
  • Assist Telecommunications Designers and Project Managers with project documentation and design revisions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders contractors and external authorities throughout project delivery.
  • Coordinate drawing updates throughout project lifecycles.
  • Assist Telecommunication Designers with site assessments and scoping as required

 


Qualifications :

Experience Required

  • Certificate or Diploma or equivalent qualification in drafting civil design or related discipline
  • AutoCAD 12d MicroStation or similar design software
  • Road Civil or Utility infrastructure projects
  • Experience working with utilities network operators councils or government agencies
  • Knowledge of civil construction methodologies are an advantage
  • A commitment to providing high-quality results
  • Be self-managed with the ability to work independently
  • Current drivers license.
