TheDevelopment Coordination Authority (DCA)has been established to strengthen how NSW Government agencies work together within the development assessment system. Acting as a central coordination point for agency advice the Authority will streamline referral processes resolve issues earlier and deliver clearer more consistent input to consent authoritiessupporting faster better-informed planning outcomes across NSW.
Joining the DCA presents a unique opportunity to help shape and embed a new operating model for planning coordination contributing directly to system reform and the delivery of housing infrastructure and sustainable communities across the State.
The role
This role sits at the centre of how technical expertise is planned shared and prioritised across the DCA. Youll work closely with senior leaders to understand whats coming where demand and risk are building and make sure the right technical resources are in place to deliver timely highquality advice across multiple streams and projects. This role will also manage senior executive support officer in the ED Tech Advisory Office
Day to day its about balancing competing priorities shifting demand and evolving service modelsusing data collaboration and good judgement to allocate resources effectively resolve conflicts and keep workloads sustainable. Youll also look ahead identifying gaps pressures and improvement opportunities and providing strategic advice that strengthens workforce capability and supports better decisions at scale.

What is an essential requirement:
- Degree qualification in a related relevant discipline or equivalent relevant experience e.g. Bachelor of Business Planning Public Administration or Project Management or related discipline.
Eligibility -Eligible employees are required to be at-grade or at an equivalent level; and either ongoing public service employees or fixed term employees who have been comparatively assessed at-grade.
