The Opportunity
Provide technical leadership for noise and vibration design assurance and mitigation across underground and surface rail infrastructure.
Your Work
Coordinate modelling design criteria and specialist technical reviews.
Assess construction and operating impacts and develop practical mitigation measures.
Guide multidisciplinary designers and verify deliverables against environmental safety and project requirements.
Support technical assurance and approval conditions and liaise with specialists client representatives and regulators.
Advise construction teams monitor commissioning performance and prepare clear technical reports and stakeholder presentations.
Requirements
Skills Education and Requirements
Degree in acoustic or mechanical engineering or a related discipline; a masters or PhD is preferred.
Substantial acoustic and vibration engineering experience preferably in rail transport or infrastructure.
Experience leading design on large underground and above-ground projects.
Familiarity with relevant Australian and international acoustic vibration and environmental standards.
Strong technical leadership multidisciplinary communication and practical mitigation capability.
