• 12 12 12 month contract with a key Commonwealth Government agency
• Baseline security clearance eligibility required
• Lead enterprise API and integration platforms built on Microsoft Azure

Resolve Recruit is partnering with a leading Commonwealth Government agency to find an experienced Technical Lead (API Integration).

Our clients DevOps and Integration section drives collaboration innovation and efficiency in the delivery of the departments digital-ready solutions enabling the adoption of DevOps and Agile methodologies onboarding new projects implementing CI/CD pipelines and supporting the API Management Platform and Developer Portals.

As a Technical Lead you will provide technical leadership and oversight for the departments API and Integration platforms guiding the design operation and continuous improvement of enterprise integration capabilities and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture security standards and departmental objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership direction and oversight for the departments enterprise integration platforms ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture security standards and strategic objectives
• Perform configuration management solution design patching onboarding monitoring and operational support for synchronous and asynchronous integration services
• Investigate troubleshoot and resolve complex platform integration performance and application issues
• Provide technical advice and guidance to platform engineers developers and project teams to ensure integration services meet current and future business requirements
• Support the modernisation of legacy integration solutions and promote the adoption of contemporary integration patterns standards and technologies
• Implement and maintain security controls standards and best practices across integration platforms and services
• Contribute to the design delivery and continuous improvement of common enterprise integration services that support departmental business systems

Key Experience and Skills

• Experience providing technical leadership and support for enterprise integration platforms and services
• Experience with integration architecture and the design and implementation of enterprise integration solutions
• Experience with Microsoft Azure integration technologies including API Management and related services
• Experience with API governance developer portals and developer enablement
• Experience developing and supporting applications Core
• Experience implementing security controls and standards including OAuth authentication authorisation and encryption
• Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and automation practices
