Continued growth and ongoing digital transformation have created an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join our Technology team in a hybrid role based in North Sydney.

Role Overview

As the Technical Business Analyst you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Partnering with business stakeholders technology teams andthird-party vendors you will analyse refine and enhance business processesimpacted by technology change helping drive efficiencies and innovation acrossthe organisation.

Reporting to the BA Lead you will lead the elicitation of business and technical requirements balancing competing stakeholder priorities while designing end-to-end business processes and technical solutions. Youll work across multiple systems integrations andvendors to ensure technology solutions deliver exceptional outcomes forcustomers and end users.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the gathering analysis and documentation of business and technical requirements across multiple projects and stakeholder groups.
  • Analyse business processes technical designs and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement automation and efficiency.
  • Facilitate workshops and requirements discussions with business stakeholders SMEs technology teams and vendors.
  • Design and document future-state business processes technical flows and end-to-end system interactions.
  • Analyse and document API integration and interface requirements across internal and external systems.
  • Create data mapping documentation and analyse end-to-end data flows between systems.
  • Support solution design activities to ensure business requirements are translated into effective technical outcomes.
  • Partner with Software Developers vendors and stakeholders to clarify requirements and support successful delivery.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives by collaborating with multiple vendors to resolve issues mitigate risks and achieve project objectives.
  • Manage vendor relationships ensuring delivery aligns with agreed requirements timelines and quality standards.
  • Proactively identify project risks and provide mitigation strategies to support successful implementation.
  • Support change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Liaise with Test Analysts and Business SMEs to support testing and quality assurance activities.
  • Contribute to the uplift of Business Analysis capability across the organisation through knowledge sharing and mentoring.

About You

  • 5 years experience as a Technical Business Analyst ideally within Financial Services.
  • Strong experience creating functional and technical specification documentation.
  • Ability to analyse technical documentation including API specifications integration guides data mapping documentation anD solution design artefacts.
  • Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience analysing APIs integrations and complex system interactions.
  • Proven experience producing data mapping and integration documentation.
  • Exposure to lending platforms broker systems Salesforce and customer-facing digital solutions would be highly regarded.
  • Experience with Open Banking Consumer Data Right (CDR) payment solutions or digital banking platforms would be advantageous.
  • Interest in Artificial Intelligence automation Generative AI and emerging technologies.
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organised detail-oriented and able to manage competing priorities.
  • Professional collaborative and committeD to delivering outstanding outcomes.
