What we are looking for:
Its an exciting time to join our Maryborough based parks team. Were entering a new phase of growth and improvement with a strong focus on safety service excellence and the adoption of modern tools and technology to support how we work.
Were looking for someone with experience delivering maintenance working within a parks or open space environment to join our team. Youll play an important role in delivering both scheduled and reactive horticultural and seasonal works ensuring our open spaces maintain a high level of presentation for our communities. This role will give you the opportunity to:
Use modern parks equipment with mobile apps to guide daily tasks and deliver prescribed maintenance programs within a category and territory-based approach.
Work with strong safety practices and reliable digital systems helping your team stay aligned and produce consistent highquality results across parks and open spaces.
Use GIS mapping field apps and the TechOne platform to access work orders record activity navigate assets and support accurate realtime delivery of maintenance programs across your assigned area.
Grow your skills through real development opportunities supported by experienced Team Leaders and a team culture that encourages learning and progression in parks maintenance.

What your day will look like:
- Delivering horticultural maintenance and planned seasonal works maintaining a high level of presentation.
- Operating a range of relevant plat and tool effectively and safely
- Providing strong customer service when required in the field an escalating when necessary
- Recording work through works management systems and other online platforms

What youll need for success:
- Valid drivers licence ACDC licence constructi9on induction white card
- Experience in a similar parks maintenance environment
- Understanding of and commitment to safe work practices
Whats nice to have:
- MR licence
- Certificate II or III in Horticulture or similar
- First Aid Certificate
- Playground Inspection Certificate
