The Occupational Therapist with Fly2Health deliver essential services across regional and remote communities through a unique model that combines travel flexibility clinical excellence and meaningful impact.

These are high-trust high-autonomy roles where youll manage a quality-focused caseload build lasting relationships with clients and communities and provide care where its needed most. For Team Leaders youll also play a pivotal role in developing clinicians fostering team culture andhelping shape the future of allied health delivery across Australia.

Youll be supported by a connected national leadership team with access to clinical expertise supervision mentoring and professional development allowing you to thrive both personally and professionally.

The Role

  • Join or lead a high-performing team of Occupational Therapists
  • Travel throughout regional Queensland communities by road and air
  • Deliver assessments interventions and ongoing therapy services in rural and remote locations
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists Speech Pathologists and Psychologists
  • Support individuals families and communities who genuinely need access to care
  • Contribute to innovative healthcare solutions that are transforming regional Australia
  • Team Leaders will mentor clinicians support service delivery and drive clinical excellence across the region

The Work Week

  • Enjoy a genuine 4-day work week with Fridays off every week
  • Monday Ground Day with your team and Team Leader working from home or the office for administration planning reporting professional development and collaboration
  • Three clinical outreach days each week
  • Structured travel schedules supporting regular clients on a fortnightly basis
  • Overnight travel is typically required on Tuesday and Wednesday nights up to two nights per week across approximately 40 weeks of the year.

Team Leaders enjoy increased Ground Time providing the opportunity to focus on what matters most coaching and mentoring clinicians driving team performance strengthening culture supporting clinical excellence and helping shape the strategic growth of the region.

Requirements

  • Qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • AHPRA registration or eligibility to obtain registration
  • Current unrestricted drivers licence
  • Ability to travel and stay overnight on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings
  • A passion for delivering healthcare to underserved regional and remote communities
