In this full-time max term role (till end of July 2027) role youll lead our Staying on Track team across Mount Isa and the Gulf helping young people successfully transition from detention back into their communities and create lasting change.

You will make a difference by:

  • Leading supporting and developing a high-performing team
  • Building strong partnerships with young people families communities and Youth Justice
  • Championing culturally responsive trauma-informed practice
  • Supporting effective transition planning and positive community connections
  • Driving quality outcomes that strengthen wellbeing and reduce reoffending

This role requires:

  • Experience leading teams in youth community justice or related settings
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice
  • Experience supporting young people with complex needs
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and partnership-building skills
  • A genuine passion for achieving positive outcomes for young people and communities
