Were looking for an experienced Team Leader Polyurethane to lead our polyurethane operations ensuring safe efficient and high-quality manufacturing outcomes while developing and supporting a skilled production team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced polyurethane professional who enjoys leading from the front and creating a positive safety-first culture.

About the Role

Reporting to the Production Supervisor youll be responsible for leading the day-to-day activities of the polyurethane team. Youll coordinate production activities mentor employees maintain quality standards and ensure operational targets are achieved safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

As our Team Leader you will:

  • Lead coach and support a team of polyurethane production employees.

  • Promote and maintain a strong Safety First culture.

  • Supervise daily polyurethane manufacturing and mixing activities.

  • Ensure work is completed safely efficiently and to quality standards.

  • Provide clear communication and direction to team members.

  • Monitor workflow and report operational performance to the Production Supervisor.

  • Investigate receipting issues and implement preventative solutions.

  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across operations.

  • Foster a collaborative positive and high-performing team environment.

About You

Were looking for someone who brings both technical expertise and strong leadership capability.

Youll ideally have:

  • Demonstrated experience working with polyurethane manufacturing and mixing processes.

  • Previous experience leading teams within manufacturing warehousing mining fabrication or a similar industrial environment.

  • Strong knowledge of polyurethane products chemicals and production processes.

  • Excellent communication and people leadership skills.

  • The ability to motivate mentor and develop others.

  • Strong organisational and planning skills.

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel Word and Outlook).

  • A commitment to continuous improvement and workplace safety.

  • Relevant industry qualifications or certifications (desirable).
