We are seeking an experienced and people-focused Team Leader to lead a Medical Review Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an Allied Health professional who is passionate about quality outcomes clinical oversight stakeholder engagement and leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead mentor and develop a high-performing Medical Review Team

  • Manage day-to-day team operations workflow allocation and performance outcomes

  • Provide clinical oversight and guidance on complex medical review matters

  • Ensure compliance with legislative policy and procedural requirements

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders healthcare providers and external partners

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process enhancement

  • Monitor quality assurance measures and reporting metrics

  • Support workforce planning recruitment onboarding and capability development

About You

To be successful in this role you will bring:

  • A qualification and background in Allied Health (e.g. Physiotherapy Occupational Therapy Exercise Physiology Rehabilitation Counselling Nursing or similar)

  • Previous leadership or people management experience

  • Strong understanding of medical reviews injury management return to work claims or health-related assessments

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to lead through change and build a positive team culture

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

  • A proactive solutions-focused mindset
