Team Leader – Maintenance

Team Leader WSUD (Water Sensitive Urban Design Assets) Based at Yatala Depot Servicing sites across the Gold Coast LGA.

Step into a hands-on team leading role where youll help shape greener more sustainable communities by maintaining and enhancing vital water-sensitive urban design assets across the Gold Coast region.

About the Role Reporting to the WSUD Manager youll lead a small crew working to protect and enhance natural water systems within urban environments. This is a dynamic field-based role where no two days are the same combining leadership technical know-how and on-the-ground work.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead supervise and support a team in the delivery of water system maintenance works
• Plan tasks delegate responsibilities and ensure work is completed efficiently and safely
• Carry out routine maintenance including vegetation management weed removal landscaping duties brush cutting and chemical spraying
• Conduct site inspections to ensure assets are functioning effectively and meeting environmental standards
• Complete administrative tasks such as reporting job tracking and documentation
• Maintain clear communication with management providing updates on team performance site conditions and any issues

About You

• Proven experience in landscaping maintenance
• Previous experience leading or supervising a team
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with management and crew members
• Highly organised reliable and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions
• A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills
• Drivers licence (essential)
• White card (essential)
