About the role
As a Team Leader for our Early Years Centre you will lead a multi-disciplinary team of Social Workers and Teachers who provide supported playgroups maternal and child health services family and targeted case management support parenting programs and early childhood education to families with children under 8 years of age. Our services focus on early intervention and prevention to ultimately empower children and families. You will work as part of a strong and collaborative leadership team of 4 supporting Early Years Centres in Acacia Ridge Browns Plains and Beaudesert with various opportunities to be autonomous and lead on projects which meet funding outcomes. Our team is a supportive strength-based multidisciplinary team with a broad range of early childhood teachers and educators social workers child health nurses midwives and allied health qualified professionals committed to high quality work providing wrap around early intervention services.

Skills and Experience
We want you to be successful in your new role! This meansyoullhave:
- A degree/qualification in Social Work Education Humanservicesorsocial welfare orotherrelevant field
- Demonstrated experience in coaching and leadership with an approachabletransparentand responsive style in building positive teamculture
- Comprehensive management skills including troubleshooting managing multiple deadlines and conflictresolution
- Sound understanding of the principles of integrated service delivery and an ability to undertake a leadership role with multi disciplines ofteams
- Excellent understanding of child protection issues and client vulnerabilities and riskindicators suchas drug and alcohol use domestic and family violence mental health issues and the impact of trauma on childbehaviourand development.
- Experience working in collaborative cross functional way with teamspeersand stakeholders to achieveoutcomes
