Your Contributions

As a Team Lead - Power and Earthing Systems you will:

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technical experts to ensure the delivery of exceptional project outcomes.
• Perform advanced power system studies including arc flash analysis protection grading short circuit analysis and load flow studies using DIgSILENT PowerFactory to ensure compliance with cutting-edge industry standards.
• Design analyze and evaluate earthing systems using CDEGS to ensure safety and reliability.
• Enhance system performance through precise cable sizing calculations using CYMCAP.
• Oversee high-profile projects including the Western Renewables Link HumeLink and other transformative initiatives in mining utility and renewables sectors.
• Build strong relationships with clients project stakeholders and cross-disciplinary teams to ensure project success.
• Provide mentorship technical guidance and foster professional growth within your team.
• Stay ahead of the latest industry trends standards and technologies to deliver optimized outcomes.

Ideal Candidate Profile

To thrive in this role youll bring:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven expertise in power system studies (including arc flash protection grading short circuit and load flow analysis) earthing system design and cable sizing methodology.
• Proficiency with industry-standard software tools such as DIgSILENT PowerFactory CDEGS and CYMCAP.
• The ability to effectively lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• A track record of successfully delivering complex large-scale projects within the energy utilities mining or renewables sector.
• Deep understanding of relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• A proactive commitment to safety quality and innovation.
