About the role

As a Teaching Fellow (Nutrition)youlljointheSchool ofHealthScience and Clinical Practices whereyoullinspire and support the next generation ofnutritionprofessionals.Youllprimarily teach nutritionfoundationalsubjects including Human Nutrition1 & 2 Nutrition & Society Food Systems Science & Policy and Lifespan Nutrition.

Youllcombine outstanding teaching practice with digital capability learning design and innovation to create learning experiences that are flexible engaging andcentredaround student success.

Whatyoullbring

• Postgraduate qualification in Nutrition (Mastersdegree or higher); a PhD (completed or in progress) is highly regarded.

• Current membership with a relevant professional association together with contemporary professional experience in the nutrition field and the ability tomaintainactive industry engagement alongside the role.

• Strong facilitation skills across online and face-to-face learning environmentsin Higher Education

• Experience using learning technologies and digital tools to enhance teaching

• Confidence using or enthusiasm for adopting AI-enabled approaches in education

• Experience designing engaging learning and assessment activities

• A student-centredapproach to teaching and learning

• Strong communicationand collaboration skills

• A growth mindset and commitment to continuous professional learning

• Relevant postgraduate qualifications (or working towards completion)
