About the role
For those interested in immersing themselves in a professional and aspirational environment that supports your success and ongoing learning and development we welcome applications for apermanent full-time Art Teacher in Years 10 12 commencing in Term 1 2027.
Applicants must have a positive attitude and a proven record of excellence in teaching that incorporates evidenced-based practice in an engaging and supportive manner. Teachers at Geelong Grammar School are required to be actively involved in our pastoral care and co-curricular programmes.

What you will be doing
- Delivering teaching and learning in line with the IB Diploma Programme and VCE curriculum
- Supporting the collaborative designoftheYears 1012 Visual Arts curriculum.
- Contributing to co-curricular programs and broader initiativesacross theSchoolscampuses
- Participating in professional learning reflectivepracticeand continuous improvement activities
- Undertakingadministrativeorganisationaland supervisory requirements
- Enablingstudent wellbeing through pastoral care relationshipbuildingand activeengagement with families
- Other duties asrequiredcommensuratewith your teaching role
What we are looking for
- An experienced VCE and IB educator with a strong teaching backgroundin senior years
- Passionate about contemporary pedagogy and adolescent development
- Strong curriculum design and planning skills
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with students parentsstaffand external stakeholders
- Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills with the capacity to work across faculties and with external partners
- Strong organisational and planning skills withexcellentattention to detail
- A background in Visual Communication Design would be advantageous
