Switchboard Electrician

Due to ongoing growth and development we are currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced switchboard electrician to join our growing switchboard manufacturing business unit manufacturing switchboards and MCCs for LV electrical infrastructure projects.

As a key member of our switchboard manufacturing team youll support the electrical design team and switchboard specialists deliver high-profile infrastructure projects driving quality outcomes from design through to delivery.

Duties and responsibilities:

Manufacture electrical switchboards and motor control centres (Cubic experience highly desirable) in accordance with project design documentation.

Read and interpret control schematics with the ability to fault find.

Perform quality checks and functional testing of completed boards.

Facilitate client Factory Acceptance Testing and complete testing and handover documentation.

Work closely with design engineers and switchboard specialists to ensure scheduling and on-time delivery.

Occasional site installation activities including commissioning.

To be successful in the position the following attributes are essential:

QLD Electrical Licence & White Card

Current LVR/CPR certificate

Experience in motor control centre manufacturing (Cubic experience highly desirable).

Strong skills in wiring terminations and interpreting schematics

Commitment to quality workmanship and safe work practices

A team-oriented approach with excellent communication skills
