Hourly Rate Range: $27.35 to $34.78 (plus Super plus NFP Salary Packaging)

Were looking for Support Workers interested in drive-in drive-out (DIDO) opportunities in Jambinu (Geraldton).

Youll join genU and support people with disability to live fulfilling independent lives. Working across accommodation and community settings youll provide tailored person-centred support while building strong positive relationships.

Current Opportunities

These roles are offered on a permanent part-time basis working a one-week-on one-week-off roster. You may also have the option to work additional shifts during your week off or be considered for a 2 week on 2 week off roster.

While travelling to and from Geraldton:

• Your travel time will be paid.
• You will receive a kilometre reimbursement for using your private vehicle.
• Accommodation and meals will be provided during your working week in Geraldton.

What Youll Do

• Support person-centred plans that identify each customers life goals and help them work towards achieving those goals.
• Join customers in the community and participate in recreational activities.
• Support customers in accommodation settings with daily living activities including meal preparation housekeeping showering toileting medication administration and attending appointments.
• Follow positive behaviour support plans.
• Complete administration duties and mandatory reporting.

What Youll Bring

• An understanding of and enthusiasm for working alongside people with disability.
• A willingness to assist with personal care and domestic duties.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
• The ability to follow person-centred plans and support people to achieve their goals and outcomes.
• A valid drivers licence and willingness to use your private vehicle in line with genUs motor vehicle allowance arrangements.

Bonus points

• Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33015 or CHC33021)

(Youll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate but dont worry well help guide you through this.)
