Salary: $30.50 $39.53 per hour Salary Packaging 20% night duty loadings and penalties

About the Role

As a Night Duty Support Worker at Rocky Bay youll support people living with disability to feel at home build independence and live life on their terms. These are all AWAKE Night Duty shifts alongside other preparation and cleaning tasks as required.

Working within shared accommodation youll provide hands-on support with daily routines personal care household tasks and mobility support. Youll get to know each customer understand what matters to them and support them to achieve their goals.

Youll work with people with a range of sensory physical and intellectual disabilities including customers with complex needs and behaviours. Every customer is different and your support will be tailored to the person.

Key Responsibilities

• Availability for Active Night Duty Monday to Sunday and able to commit to entire roster
• Assist customers with all aspects of daily living including personal care meal preparation medication assistance and household tasks while consistently promoting dignity and respect
• Communicate and build meaningful connections with customers adapting interactions to meet each individuals unique needs
• Safely and confidently operate modified vehicles to transport participants to appointments activities and community outings
• Follow person-centred plans and assist individuals in working towards their personal life goals
• Maintain accurate records of supports and services through timesheets case notes and incident reports

About You

• 2 years experience in Night Duty
• Previous support work experience with complex disabilities is essential
• Valid Drivers Licence essential
• Availability for Active Night Duty Monday to Sunday and able to commit to entire roster
• Passionate about supporting people to live fulfilling and independent lives
• Reliable patient and person-centred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible and confident supporting complex needs and behaviours
• Experience or knowledge of Active Support or willingness to learn
• Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is desirable
